These two were instrumental in creating a taste and inclination towards Indian Classical Music in Navi Mumbai. In 1978 they along with a few like minded friends they set up an organisation called New Bombay Music and Drama Circle in Vashi. Through this Circle they invited who’s who of Indian Classical Music to perform. They also created an opportunity for local talent to flourish through theme programmes and competitions as well as music classes.
